The award, “2016 Woman Lawyer of the Year,” is one that is widely regarded as a significant honor for a female lawyer, as it is based solely on reviews by her peers.
Barbara was named a “2016 Woman Lawyer of the Year” by the publication and her peers for her proficiency in labor and employment litigation, an area of law in which she has practiced for more than 20 years.
Aside form her notable success in the legal profession, Barbara is a devoted public servant who is actively involved in the Ecunchatee District of the Boy Scouts of America’s Tukabatchee Area Council, where she has held roles ranging from Den Leader to Finance Chair.
