Capell & Howard is pleased to announce that W. Allen Sheehan, William R. Cunningham, and Richard F. Calhoun Jr. have been admitted as shareholders of the firm, effective January 1, 2013. Allen, Will, and Richard joined the firm as associates in 2007.
Allen’s practice is primarily in general civil litigation, including alternative dispute resolution, debt collection, and insurance defense. However, Allen also does some criminal defense work. He received his B.A. from Rhodes College in 2004, and his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law in 2007.
Will focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including secured and unsecured financing, acquisitions, sales and leasing. He also practices in various areas of civil litigation in federal and state court. Will received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Alabama in 2004, and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2007.
Richard concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate and business law, taxation, and public finance. He received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Alabama in 1999, and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2007. Prior to attending law school, Richard worked in banking for five years
