Allen Sheehan elected to Kiwanis Board of Directors

Allen Sheehan was recently elected to the board of directors of the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery. The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery is a civic organization dedicated to meeting the needs of youth in the River Region. It is the second largest Kiwanis club in the world, among approximately 8,000 clubs affiliated with Kiwanis International.

Capell & Howard wins summary judgment in United States District Court

 The Middle District of Alabama recently granted summary judgment in favor of Capell & Howard’s client in a Title VII race discrimination and retaliation case. The plaintiff sought compensatory, emotional and punitive damages for claims of discriminatory pay, discriminatory discharge, and retaliation. Henry Barnett, Barbara Wells, and Patricia Osuch served as counsel to the client.
